CAMP RULES

We wouldn’t want to bog you down with tons and tons of complicated rules, so we have boiled things down to 4 major rules we explicitly need for campers to respect and follow.

There are other rules, but these are the primary ones we need followed, and we’ll trust that our expanded rules-set, that which we’ll distribute at the time of registration will cover the rest of camper conduct for a happy camping season.

1. Parents MUST sign in and sign out their camper during the sign out times.

2. Camper participation Is required at all times.

3. Appropriate modest clothing must be worn. No waist showing, no low cut tops and shorts must be long enough to cover.

4. Other camp rules will be given at camp to aid in a fun and uplifting camp for everyone.

We want you to be prepared so you can be comfortable while you are at camp this is why we made the lists below for you. Camp is a fun, immersive, and social time spent with great people and campers, you will be most comfortable if you remember to bring as many of the suggested items as you can, and believe us, you will be most comfortable in the camp community by leaving behind any and all of the suggestions below.

What to bring:

Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes

Towel, soap & toothbrush

Flashlight

Running shoes

Rain gear

Insect repellent

Sunscreen & hat

Single foam or air mattress (not supplied)

Life-jacket (if you have)

Swim wear

Notebook & pen

Sleeping bag & pillow

Bible (can be supplied)

What to leave at home:

Cell phone

Other electronic devices

Tobacco products

Alcohol

Vapes

Cannabis

Illegal drugs

It costs about $250 to host a child for the week. Please consider this as you decide upon a donation, but know that no child will be turned away for lack of funds.

Help Make Our Camp Better

THERE IS SO MUCH WE NEED DONE AT CAMP

Here are examples of a few ways your donation could be used from the Camp General Fund:

 

– Our Camp’s kitchen is in need of upgrading / updating and also some renovations to the entire kitchen and dining areas.

 

– The Camp has an “Atco” style trailer which needs some repairs/renovations to make it a closed in space. A closed in space like the Atco building, offers us a smart multi-use facility and future growth that could be utilized in many ways.

 

– We incur steady everyday costs performing maintenance as well as continuing to develop the grounds into usable areas. New equipment and upkeep to existing  yard equipment like mowers and shears or other equipment presents constant costs.

 

– We have need of new and updated activities equipment for campers every year.
(i.e. bikes, archery, and water sports, and other equipment.)
